Day 1.

Well here it's been and gone! All I can say is, what a long frickin' day! About 18 hours travelling out of 25 hours awake in total, including a 3 hour stint at customs, thinking I'd lost Fliss already, endless queues and about an hour's traffic jam into the city. But we're here! At our first stop, New York, and it's so exciting to be back! 

So first of all, flying is hilarious when you befriend a flight attendant and hound them for alcohol, discovering some kind of foreign baileys substitute and loving it and almost getting knocked out by a gin turns into one hilarious flight!

After arriving massively later than we thought, we didn't have chance to do much which disappointed us a bit, but after being awake so long I'm happy to see my bed. So got a full itinerary for tomorrow and will hopefully have pictures to go with!
